Biblical History Center does not survive without the time, love, and care given by our wonderful volunteers. We greatly appreciate all that they do for us, and we could never fully thank them – though we certainly try.
Volunteers fill many essential roles at BHC. Volunteers welcome guests at the front desk, aid in office work, lead visitors through the museum as tour guides, or work in the kitchen, building, and grounds. If you would like to give your time and love to us, we would be more than happy to have you!
Anyone can become a volunteer! We have volunteers who require more sitting roles while other volunteers fill roles that require more speaking duties.
We also take children volunteers! Until the children are high school ages, we ask that a parent or guardian be present during volunteer hours. We offer a special volunteer program for high school aged children called the Apprentice Program. This program serves to teach high school aged children soft skills – office work, public speaking, team building – that will follow them into the greater workforce later in life.
How to Become a Volunteer
Becoming a volunteer is easy! Fill out this Volunteer Application Form and return it to the museum in the attention of Morgan Cantrell. She will contact you to set up an appointment, and you will begin your journey with BHC!
